"Looking Forward to the Next 100 Years"

We cordially invite your participation in our history conference at the public youth forum on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Free admission.

The year 2010 marks the 100th year of colonization of Korea by Japan. History teaches us to examine historic events such as the forced annexation of Korea with an honest look back at the past, critical assessment of the present, and hopeful prospect of the future.

“Can Korea and Japan Live Like Good Neighbors? - Future Outlook”
“Korea-Japan Relations in the 21st Century: What we learn from the past and how we can cooperate for the future”

2) To build common grounds for mutual understanding and meaningful dialogues to reach historical reconciliation between Korea and Japan with the participation from Korean American and Japanese communities;
3) To create opportunities for average Korean Americans to approach historical issues via friendly and accommodating means through letter-writing campaign;
